There is something very powerful about being the person you needed when you started your aerospace journey. If you have technical, organizational, or leadership experience and want to put it at the service of all-women teams taking their first steps in rocketry, this call is for you.

ACMA is looking for mentors to guide all-women teams during their preparation for and participation in the Colombian Sport Rocketry Competition (CCCD) 2026. You don’t need to be a rocket expert—you need to want to guide others.

What you get as an ACMA mentor:

  • Official certificate of participation
  • Institutional recognition for your impact

What is CCCD 2026?

The CCCD is Colombia’s national sport rocketry competition, organized by SateLab (ALAS) under Tripoli Prefecture 181, with technical and safety support from the FAC (Colombian Air Force) and Civil Aeronautics. Teams design, build, and launch solid-propellant rockets under engineering and operational safety criteria.

Key dates:

  • Registration deadline: July 31, 2026

  • In-person event: November 6, 7, and 8, 2026

  • Location: Santa Fe de Antioquia

  • Team profile: secondary school (6th to 12th grade) and university

Rocketry experience is not required. We are looking for diverse backgrounds—what matters is your commitment to the people you will guide.

What will you do as a mentor?

  • Provide technical or organizational guidance to your assigned team
  • Join periodic follow-up meetings during preparation
  • Support the planning and development of the team’s project
